Katherine "Kathy" North

Katherine Anne North, 77, passed away on November 19, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. She was the widow of Butch North. They shared 47 years of marriage together.

Kathy was born in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, the daughter of Marvin and Ruth Haddock. Her family relocated to Miami, Arizona in 1953.  She graduated from Miami High School in 1962 and married her first husband, Mr. Rudy Hernandez. She was employed and retired from Globe Public Schools and worked as a School Bus Driver for 25+ years.

She was a member of the Globe LDS church and truly enjoyed any and all cooking, baking and crafting. She will be remembered for her big smile, beautiful personality and her true love of family.

She is survived by her children, Jackie Hernandez Ojeda (Steven), Lorri Bowe (Jim), Alan Hernandez (Angelica), Lisa Dzera (Keith), 7 grandchildren, many blended family members and her sister, Ms. Judy Swan of Huntington Beach California. She was predeceased by her husband, Butch North and her parents, Marvin and Ruth Haddock.

The funeral service will be held on November 30, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Globe LDS Church with interment at the Globe Cemetery.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center Auxillary in Globe Arizona.
