Juanita Ann Johnson , age 64 of Peridot, Arizona Passed away on December 6, 2020 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. She was born in Whiteriver, Arizona on September 1, 1956. She was the daughter of Lolita Johnson. She worked as a Secretary for the Tribal Prosecutor. She Was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. Juanita was the rock of her family. She attended school at Peridot Mission, Globe high school and Eastern Arizona in Thatcher, Arizona. Education was very important to her. She worked for the Tribal Cattle Association, the Parade committee, Election committee, School board and the Miss San Carlos Pageant committee, and the Rodeo Committee. She enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, eating ice cream, spending time with her family and Traditional Ceremonies. She was preceded in death by her mother Lolita Johnson and one granddaughter, Savannah Johnson. She is survived by her children Jamie Jon Johnson (Melissa) of San Carlos, Corwin Lee Johnson (Sharon) and four grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 Noon in Upper Peridot Cemetery. Interment will be at Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
