Joyce Elaine Napp

Joyce E Napp, age 98, passed away on August 15th, 2024.  She was born July 19,1926, in Fennimore, Wisconsin.  She married her high school sweetheart Gordon (Sam) Napp in 1947 in the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Iowa.  She and Sam moved to Miami Arizona in 1951.  She worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell and was employed at the Miami-Inspiration Hospital for 7 years.

She was a member of WAAIME, the women's auxiliary of AIME.  She enjoyed playing golf and bridge with her many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, her parents Ernest & Viola Miller and 3 sisters.  She is survived by her son Gary (Trinka) and nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank the Faubush Family Homes staff for their wonderful care over the years, and to thank the hospice nurses for their compassion during her end of life.

Services will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 630 N Devereaux St, Globe, AZ on August 23 at 10:00AM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St Peter's Lutheran Church, 630 N Devereaux, Globe, AZ, or the charity of your choice.
