Joshua Cody Key

Joshua Cody Key, age 36, of Peridot, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on July 1, 1985 to Elson Brown, Jr. and Opal (Key) Wright. He worked in construction and mining.

Joshua enjoyed listening to music, playing basketball and being with family. He loved fishing, being in the outdoors and cooking.

He was fun, loving, always joking around and laughing. He was a high school athlete and loved the Arizona Cardinals.

Joshua is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Robert Key, Sr. & Bernice Soontay Key, his paternal grandparents Elson Brown, Sr., Katherine Kinney Brown and his nephew Christian Angel Church.

He is survived by his Mother Opal Wright, Father Elson Brown, Jr. and Step-Dad Danford Wright, his children Kendrea Key, Issac Key and Destiny Key, and his siblings Becca Ashley(Felix), Alicia Brown, Tyler Key(Shelby), J.R. Key(Eryn) and Brandi Smith(Eli).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 6:00 – 10:00 A.M. at World Evangelism Revival Center in San Carlos, Arizona.

Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at World Evangelism Revival Center.

Interment will follow at Six Mile Cemetery in Peridot, Arizona.
