Josephine Madrid Barajas, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on January 29, 2025. She was born in Miami, AZ on October 20, 1932 to Edmundo and Soledad Madrid.

She is survived by her children: Armida Dixon (Richard), Juanita Mata (Steve), Dorine Esparza (Greg), Cathy Garcia, Raymond Barajas Jr (Julie) and 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Barajas, her son, Rudy Perez, her granddaughter Melanie Dixon, and great grandson Nathaniel Dixon

Her family celebrated her life at a private service at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Gilbert, Arizona.
