Johnny Limas Garcia

Johnny, age 88 of Claypool, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1936, in Miami, Arizona to Juan Garcia and Sabina Limas Garcia. He had five (5) brothers and three (3) sisters.

He was raised in Claypool, Arizona. He was married to Margaret (Mani) Garcia, and they had five (5) kids.  He worked in the Copper Mine until his retirement.

Johnny was an outdoors man he loved hunting and fishing.  After he retired, he took up golf and enjoyed spending time with his friends on the course.  He also enjoyed watching sports on TV.  If you stopped by to visit more than likely he would be watching Football, Basketball or Baseball with the TV really loud. Johnny enjoyed spending time with his friends but most important was his family.  He loved cooking and that was his way of showing you he cared, by constantly trying to feed you.

Johnny leaves behind his son’s Mike Golden (Melissa) of Globe, Johnny Garcia Copperas Cove, Texas, Ronnie Garcia and his wife Mia of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Eddie  Garcia of Mesa, Arizona, his daughter Corrine Garcia and husband Dave of Glendale, Arizona, also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his dog Scooby, all of  whom will forever treasure the love and memories that Johnny left them with as a father and grand-father.

He was preceded in death by his son Tony Garcia.
