Jilliyn Alexandra Marin

Our Lord blessed this world with the birth of Jilliyn Alexandra Marin, February 25, 2005, in Globe, Arizona.  Her parents, Neil and Jeannette Marin, knew instantly just how special this baby girl would be, not only to them but to the four protective big brothers she so dearly loved, Andrew, Christopher (Breezy), Matthew (Kaitlin and their expecting child) and Brian.

Jilliyn was called home and was welcomed into the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father on March 11, 2024.  She is with her loving great-grandparents watching over us. Our lives were incredibly blessed with her loving presence and will never be the same without her.

Jilliyn graduated from Miami High School in 2023 with High Honors and was a member of the National Honor Society, this is a source of pride for many of us.  Jilliyn was an awesome athlete likely because her brothers didn’t let her play like a girl, she was the family basketball star.  Jilliyn participated in Student Council, and Girls State.  A gifted student, attending college and obtaining State Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Certifications in H.S.

One of Jilliyn’s greatest achievements in life was clearly falling in love with her best friend and the man of her dreams, Eric Troglia.  Jilliyn and Eric were special together, her eyes always sparkled when he was near.  Eric and Jilliyn were crowned Prom King and Queen their Senior Year.  They left our little town with big dreams, both attending the University of Arizona, this being their freshman year.  Jilliyn’s dream was to become a Geneticist, marry Eric and fulfill their life dreams.

Jilliyn had the favor of her mother and father, and her brothers, she is the most treasured gift their lives will ever know, and they will surely morn her loss until the end of time.

Jilliyn has an incredibly huge family that loved her especially those already mentioned, her Grandparents Henry and Cecilia Bejarano, and Isabel and Alfonso Marin.  She has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends (who are too many to mention).

So, hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear, tell them how much you love them and that you’ll always hold them dear.  If tomorrow never comes, no regrets about today.  Our family’s cherished blessing is the final Sunday we spent with you.

Visitation will be held from 9:30AM-10:30AM on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Arizona.

Rosary will be held on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at 10:30AM.

Mass will be held Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at 11:00AM.

Interment will follow at the Globe Cemetery.

There will be a luncheon following the burial at Bullion Plaza Gym in Miami, Arizona to celebrate the wonderful life of Jilliyn.
