Jerry Wayne Lawhon, born on November 21, 1951, to Gay and Perry Lawhon on Miami, Arizona. Jerry had a large family with 10 brothers and sisters. He is served in the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany.
He had many careers in his life but was most proud of his skill as a heavy equipment operator. Jerry was an avid horseman and loved all his Arabian horses. He spent countless hours riding all over Arizona-surviving an 80ft fall in the Pinal Mountains in 2015 and rode all over Wyoming when he lived there.
Jerry was an excellent pool player. He has a heart of Gold and was always willing to help anyone out. Jerry leaves behind his son, Jeremy (Sherri) and daughters Julia (Travis) and Brittany. Sister Nancy (Jim) Trotter and brother Kenneth along with his grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Many nieces and nephews, his longtime partner, Janice and many good friends.
We had found out July 22nd, 2024, that Jerry had cancer, and he had begun treatment with he came down with pneumonia. The battle was too much for his body to handle and lost his fight on August 15th, 2024. He will be truly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Jerry's Life to be held at a later date.
