Hugh Franklin Kenton Sr. Born January 17th 1987 at Maricopa Medical Center to his Father the late Sterling Bill Kenton and his mother the late Myra Mcintosh-Kenton. Hugh Entered Eternal Rest on April 28th 2021 at the San Carlos Apache HealthCare. When Hugh was born and was released from the hospital they went to eat at a restaurant and their mom put him on the table and 2 old ladies came up and said he was the cutest baby ever. Especially with his long eyelashes and dimples. Then the old ladies asked how much, asking to buy him. His sister Dorthea started crying and her dad had to explain to her that they were just teasing. Hugh was an energetic little boy who loved to play in puddles of muddy water in front of his parents house. He also never wanted to wear clothes, just his pampers. When he became a big brother to Jon Kenton he used to pick on him. One time his little brother was in the walker and Hugh went and pushed him out the door. Hugh and his brother (Jon)were always mistaken for twins when they were younger. They were inseparable if one wasn't around the other would cry for the other. Still is the same to this day although they would never admit it. At the age of 16 Hugh became a father. Hugh has 6 kids his daughters Elizabeth Kenton, Kiyleen Kenton and Sophia Faye Kenton and His Sons Hugh F. Kenton Jr, Donovan Lupe, Kevin Kenton. And just a few day before his passing Hugh became a Grandfather for the 1st time to his beautiful Granddaughter Neveah although Hugh didn't get a chance to see his grandbaby he was excited and happy telling everyone that he was a grandpa now. Hugh was known for having a big heart and would help anyone who needed it. He had such a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, loved to tease his bros and dance. Though he has had his struggles in life his heart was always in a good place. Hugh was a very prayerful man; he would be up in the morning saying prayers for his whole family. He loved to hang out with his family and bros while having a "Cold one" with them. Some memories from his bros are when at the Casino one of his bros was gambling and Hugh said "Whoo, we got a winner over here!!" And he only won one dollar. Hugh was a funny guy one of his favorite sayings was "There you are!" One of his uncles said he knew Hugh since he was small. He said he always teased with his Uncle Augie. Hugh was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Hugh is survived by his older sisters Dorthea Kenton and Cherilyn Sanchez. brothers Jon Fitzgerald Kenton and Andrew King and his children Elizabeth Kenton, Hugh F.
