Gloria Sanchez Guerrero

Gloria Sanchez Guerrero, age 96, of Globe Arizona, passed away on June 13, 2023, at Heritage of Globe in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Globe, Arizona on October 13, 1926, to Alejandro Sanchez and Angelina Troglia.

She spent a lot of her time with family, children, and many friends. Gloria was a proud member of her local church in Globe, The Holy Angels Catholic Church, as well as the St. Frances Church in Whiteriver, Arizona.  She was also the mother of the “Termites.” She was known from them as "Our Lady of the Pinals". In her downtime, Gloria enjoyed cooking, fishing, and visiting with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ventura “Benny” Guerrero, her son Carlos Guerrero, brothers Bill Sanchez and James Lopez, sisters Mary Alice Zaragoza, and Juanita Salazar, and her parents Alejandro and Angelina Sanchez.

Gloria is survived by her daughters Eledia (Julian) Rodriguez and Olivia Guerrero, and son Ben (Anita) Guerrero, her daughter in-law Bonnie Guerrero, her sister Kathleen "Chaner" Murga, sister in-law Dorothy "Dottie" Sanchez, nine grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 7 1/2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held on June 24, 2023, from 9:30AM- 10:00AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Arizona.

Mass will be held on June 24, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Arizona

Internment will held be at the Old Globe Cemetery in Globe, Arizona
