Gerald Lee Philpot Sr.

Gerald Lee Philpot Sr was born October 23 ^rd , 1960, in Miami Inspiration Hospital. He was the seventh child out of eight children born to Mr. Junior DC Philpot and Mrs. Stella Mae Philpot.

He attended Miami Schools and met and married Sharon Imhoff in 1981, together they have three sons Loren, Gerald Jr., and Randall.

His number one goal was to serve God and provide for his family, so he attended RSI refrigeration school shortly after his second child was born. He worked for Kwik Kool Refrigeration, then moved his family to the valley where Randall was born.

Wanting to be close again with family and friends, he took a job with Miami School district and moved his family back home. He eventually went to work for Cypress Miami Mining. His desire was to own and operate his own business and started Mountain Air Heating and Cooling, which he ran for many years. After selling his business he took a job with Gila County in the weatherization department. A few years later, he started another HVAC business, Gila Energy Management and then added Green Tree Construction.  He was an owner and operator for 20 years until his retirement in 2014.

Jerry enjoyed camping and fishing in the great outdoors with family and friends. Throughout his life he also enjoyed playing his guitars, listening to music, coaching his son’s baseball teams, and riding his motorcycle. He had a love for people and was known for his big heart. Anybody that knew Jerry knew that they could call on him anytime for anything and he would be there.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents the late Junior DC and Stella Mae Philpot. His brother Nolan Philpot (Joy) and sister-in-law Glenda. Gerald is kept in memory by his siblings Gary, (Late Glenda), David (Frances) Kathy (Joe Wilson) Patsy (Gary Minefee), Tony and Paul.

Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon of 41 years. His children Loren (Stephanie) Gerald Jr. (Ingrid), Randall and his grandchildren, Kaetlyn, Gavin, Santiago, Ethan, Callan, Isaac, Sebastian, Declan, Maximiliano and Charlotte Rose, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday April 22 ^nd , 2023, at Grapevine Group site, Mallard Loop, Roosevelt Lake Arizona at 12:00PM
