George Legaspe Williams

George Legaspe Williams, age 96 of Miami Arizona Passed away on April 14th, 2023 at his home in Globe. He was born in Miami, Arizona on August 18th 1926 To John and Martha Williams. George was full of life and the love of it. He grew up with seven brothers, and like all of them he served his country. His service was in the U.S. Navy in the pacific theatre during World War II. After the war, he married his first wife, Yolanda, and had a family with 4 Children. He was an Instrument Technician with Shell Oil, Retiring after the death of his first wife. He remarried to Josephine Flores, for a love that lasted 37 years. He died four days after her. George was a steadfast and loving father, a kind and generous grandfather, and an avid story teller, (having lived a very experienced life). He enjoyed the outdoors and home improvement projects. He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine, and his daughter Martha. He is survived by his brother Eddie Williams, His Daughter Linda, his son George, His son Gregory, his daughter-in -law Maria and his grandson BJ Duster, (who saw him as his father). George had 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. His love for life and kind actions to those who loved him will be greatly missed. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, Arizona. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, Arizona. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, AT 2:00 PM at the Pinal Cemetery in Central Heights, Arizona. Services will be cared for by Lamont Mortuary of Globe, in Globe, Arizona.
