Gary Matthew Sanchez, Jr.

Gary Matthew Sanchez, Jr., age 28, of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away at his home on August 13th, 2023. Gary was born on August 10th, 1995, in Show Low, Arizona, to Shannon Barley and Gary Matthew Sanchez, Sr.

Gary was a Seasonal Firefighter for the BIA Forestry. He is a father of 3 beautiful children: Zaiden, Zoey, and Zay Cosen of San Carlos, Arizona. Gary enjoyed playing video games, skateboarding, drawing, and spending time with his children, family and friends.

He is survived by his 3 children, Mother Shannon Barley, siblings: Angel, Zakary, Diego, Tiago, and Jesse Sanchez. Also, numerous other family members and friends that will miss his dearly.

He is proceeded in death by his father Gary Matthew Sanchez, Sr., and bother Matthew Sanchez.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM on Monday, August 21st, 2023, at the Gilson Wash Activity Center in Peridot, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 21s, 2023, at the Gilson Wash Activity Center in Peridot, Arizona.

Tribal Ceremonies will follow at East Cocopah Cryhouse in Somerton, Arizona.
