Freeman Russell, Jr. age 84 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on August 17th, 2024, at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on May 11th, 1940, in San Carlos, Arizona to Amy Francis and Freeman Russell, Sr.

He worked as a custodian for Tribal Housing. He is survived by his wife Darlene, children Kalvis (Klarissa) Russell, Delvis Russell, Lavinia (Antonio Delvalle) Russell, Morning Glori Russell, Harold (Eileen) Russell, Sr., Anthony Russell, Donovan (Rosina) Russell, Fremanda Russell and stepchildren Caroline Hooke and David Dewey. Siblings, Randolph Belknap, Linda Sisto, Fredrick Belknap, and Pauline Green. Along with 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Freeman, Jr. is preceded in death by his parents Amy Francis and Freeman Russell, Sr., children Sharilyn Russell, Nathan Russell, Phillip Russell, Cynthia Russell, Myron Russell and stepchild Valerie Dewey. Siblings Franklin Belknap, Vera Belknap, Karen Belknap, Brenda Belknap, and Rita Belknap.

A Wake will be on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at 5:00PM at the Russell Residence in New Moonbase #31 in Peridot, Arizona.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, at 10:00AM at the Church of Calvary on Route 6 in San Carlos, Arizona

Burial will follow at the San Carlos Cemetery.
