Freddie V. Astor

Freddie Virgil Astor, age 60, of Peridot, AZ, passed away on August 4, 2020 at banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 13, 1959 the son of Eugene Astor and Lillian (Dewey) Dillon. Freddie attended Rice Elementary, Peridot Lutheran and Phoenix Indian High School. He had several different jobs as a rancher, custodian, truck driver and fork lift operator for a sand and gravel pit. Freddie enjoyed the outdoors, loved to go hunting, fishing and camping. He was also a San Francisco 49 football fan. Freddie is survived by his children; Kimberly, Leah , Florence, Krystal and Nettie Astor, his siblings, Karen Sisto and Kathy Jones and 14 grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 8:00 – 9:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel. Graveside Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at Lower Peridot Cemetery/Six Mile Route 3.
