Evelyn Anna (Hamman) Schmerber, age 92 quietly entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2018. She was born on February 15, 1926 in Seattle, Washington to John Edmond Floyd Jr. and Selma Alida Sjursen and later had a little brother Don. Evelyn moved from Washington with her parents to Pima Arizona and later to Globe, Arizona. While attending High School in Pima she met her first husband, Wayne Jr. Hamman. They married and had three children, Sherry, Susan and Dusty. After divorcing, she met her second husband Louis J. Schmerber and were married on January 4, 1969. Louie had his own business later down the road, “Schmerber’s Plumbing” and mom was a strict secretary for him. With a second marriage in tow, there were two more children from Louie’s first marriage, Jay and Patty Lou. She was preceded in death by her husband’s Wayne Jr. Hamman, Louis J. Schmerber, her parents John and Selma, a brother Don Floyd (Tempe) and a son Dusty Wayne Hamman. She is survived by her daughters Sherry (J.D. deceased) Smith of Globe, Susan (Frank) Miller of Globe, stepson Jay (Wanda) Schmerber, step daughter Patty Lou, sister-in-law Vonda Floyd (Tempe) grandchildren Stephanie (Jeff) Coleman of Chandler, Amber (Louie) Martinez of Globe, Stacie Villalobos of Globe, Justin (Jamie) Roark of Nevada, Dusti Fansler of Globe, Jason Hamman of New Mexico, Tiffany Hamman (Deceased), Aaron Schmerber and Sarah Williams. She had many great and great great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom she loved very much and enjoyed their visits. We would like to thank all who helped take care of our Mom, Maria and Angel (Angel Home Care), all employees of Aviant Hospice, you were all a blessing and “Thank You”. Per mom’s wishes, she did not want funeral services, only graveside services at Pima Cemetery at a later date. Mom we will miss you so very much but know in our hearts you were tired and ready to go home to the other loved ones you missed dearly. “Until we are together again, you will be in our thoughts and prayers every day.
