Elvin "Syree" Kindelay

Elvin Phillips “Syree” Kindelay age 70 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Haven of Globe Nursing Home. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on September 3, 1949. He was the son of Annabelle Kindelay. He attended Rice Elementary and San Carlos High Schools. He worked as a truck driver, a cook for the BIA Forestry Department and for the Cattle Association. He was a traditional singer at Cultural Events. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time in the mountains. He was preceded in death by his mother Annabelle Kindelay and his companion Greta Small. He is survived by his brothers Nathaniel Curtis of San Carlos, Leonard Curtis of Payson and his sister Patricia King of Tempe. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 8:00-10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in Northgate Cemetery.
