Dwain Albert Bussey

Dwain Albert Bussey age 78, passed away at his home in Miami, Arizona on May 12th, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 11th, 1945, in Traverse City, Michigan to Albert J. and Arvine Bussey.

Dwain was a caring and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed BBQ’s, fish fries, projects and watching old movies. He worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections for 20+ years. After retirement, his hobbies included fishing, hunting, trapping, playing his guitar, card games, puzzles, wood working, cooking, and gardening.

Dwain is survived by his loving wife, Thelma (Coy) Bussey, children William Matney, Ron Matney, Pat Matney, Bob Matney, Debbie Webster, and Margaret Grantham. Siblings, Priscilla Delervyelle, Carol Wildman, Lyle Bussey, Harold Bussey, Mary Kenny, Peter Bussey, Albert Bussey, and Joseph Bussey. Along with 17 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Arvine Bussey.

Dwain touched the hearts of many and be missed dearly.
