Dorothy Gibson

Dorothy Ann Salter Gibson, age 78, of Anadarko, OK passed away on Saturday, February 26,2022, at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, 0K. Dorothy was born in San Carlos, Az on December 18,1943, to Bert Salter and Nellie Datsi Salter, of 7-mile wash.

She left the reservation on a relocation program under the US government employment act starting her long-life career in Chicago, IL training worked through all varies states and cities, labor work force program in San Diago CA, housekeeping in Tucson, AZ, Tandy company warehouse assembly in Ft Worth, TX, Gable factory vehicle parts in Chickasha, OK. After the following she retired, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, Hobbies creating bead work doing art and craft with sewing different colors designs, was a mother, grandma, aunty, gave helpful advice to many others socializing out going person.

Preceded in death by her parent. Bert and Nellie Salter, her baby boy Gibson, and siblings, Annabelle Mahsill, Priscella Bendle, Martha Norman, Rosita Cutter, Evangeline Alden, Virginia Sign, Wilson Salter and Sam Salter.

She is survived by Youlanda Sue Gibson 5 grandkids 1 greatgrandchild.
