Dinah Slick

Dinah Marie Slick, age 61of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019                              at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. She was born in San Carlos, Arizona                               on April 4, 1958. She was the daughter of Millie (McIntosh) and Newton Slick. She worked as a cook for the Headstart Program. Dinah went to Rice Elementary School and San Carlos Junior High Schools. She attended high School in California, Utah and graduated from Globe High School. She went to Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher for one year. She was a CNA at the San Carlos Apache Health Care Center and in Safford, Arizona. She also cooked for the BIA Forestry Department. Dinah loved to sing and to cook. She attended church and was in the choir. Purple was her favorite color. She attended all family gatherings and had a big heart. Dinah was preceded in death by her parents Millie and Newton Slick. She is survived by her children Connie King, Sheldon King, Danielle King and Dan King all from San Carlos, Arizona, her sister Angela Uptain of San Carlos, her brothers Darrell and Pascal Slick Sr. of San Carlos and fifteen grandchildren. Wake will be on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at the Slick’s Residence in San Carlos. Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gilson Wash Activity Center. Interment will be in the San Carlos -Mormon Hill Cemetery.
