Deloris Verlin Belarde

Delores Belarde made her way to heaven on June 29, 2022, and what a reunion it was! She was 85 years old, and her life was a true testimony of her dedication to her family and caring for others.

Delores had many talents, but the one that made her famous was her cakes. They were undeniably the best tasting, and the decorations were breath taking. The one cake she made that always was a bit challenging to dive into was her “Cat litter cake”.  But once you could get passed the litter box, the scooper, and the melted tootsie rolls you couldn’t stop eating it.

She was blessed to have 5 children, Michael Belarde of Mesa, Jeff Belarde of Miami, Cliff Belarde of Globe, Kelli Belarde of Mesa, and Kris Belarde (Estelle) of Globe.

Her grandchildren were a big part of her life. She worked at Lee Kornegay Jr. High for many years until she retired.

We will cherish the memories and the love, but we are comforted knowing she’s in God’s care until we see her again.
