David M. Wampole, of Tucson, passed away Tuesday, May 19th from injuries he received after the Harley Davidson he was riding was hit by an impaired driver on May 13th. David was just 61 years old. David was born on August 8, 1958 in Superior AZ. He grew up in Central Heights, where his family was active in car racing. His dad Warren raced for many years and Warren’s sons and grandsons carried on the tradition for years after that. David really enjoyed helping his father, brothers and nephews on raceday. Our lives will never be the same without him and his beautiful smile and awesome personality. Our hearts are broken. David is survived by his daughter Cristle, brother Wayne and his wife Linda, sister Nikki and her husband Bill Leggett and brother Warren Jr. He was preceded in death by his daughter Darcy, parents Warren and Toni and his grandparents.
