David Kast, Sr.

David John Kast, Sr., age 74, of San Carlos, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at his home. Born April 24, 1947 in Rochester, New York to parents Elmer Kast and Isabel (Lowe) Kast. He was a self-employed commercial painter and was husband to Arlene (Miles) Kast. In 1967, David enlisted into the United States Army and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Purple Heart Medal.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Miles Kast; sons, Douglas Miles, Sr., David Kast, Jr.; daughters, Juanita and Howard Hooke, Jr., Arlene and Floyd Pemberton, Jo and Tom Lazo; sister, Suzanne House; 29 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 8:00 A.M. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, AZ.

Burial followed at the Veterans National Cemetery in Peridot, AZ.
