Davey Swift

Davey Swift, age 54, of Peridot, Arizona passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Peridot, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on March 18, 1964. He was the son of Adella (Cassadore) and Arnold Swift. Davey was a descendant of Chief Cassadore. He attended school at Peridot Mission, Rice Elementary School, San Carlos Junior High and Globe High Schools. He did yardwork around San Carlos. He worked construction in Phoenix as a roofer for a while. He was limited by knee and back problems. He was a caregiver for his mother for many years. He loved to fish, walk, collect rocks, read, spending time with his grandchildren. He read the Bible every day and attended the Lutheran Church. He loved music, gardening and was very sociable. He was preceded in death by his Father Arnold Swift, his son Phillip Swift, his brothers Samuel Victor, Robert L. Swift and Frank Swift. Davey is survived by his mother Adella Swift of Globe, his children Harold Swift of Mesa and Mary Swift of Peridot, his brothers Arnold Swift of San Carlos, Randall Swift of Peridot, his sisters Bonnie Rustin of Peridot, Shelly Swift of Globe, Sharon Edwards of Peridot, Beverly Key of Peridot, Hilda Swift Key of Peridot, Yvonne Lees of Cutter and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 5:00 A.M. at the Adella Swift residence in La Bamba City. Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Peridot Mission Church in Peridot. Interment will be in Upper Peridot Cemetery.
