Darrell Lee Brewer

Darrell Lee Brewer, age 65 of Globe, AZ passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at his home in Globe.

He was born in Chicago, IL on December 20, 1956.

Son of Erneal Brewer and Geraldine (Brock)Brewer.

He proudly served in The United States Navy.

Darrell went on to be a truck driver for many years, and then went on to small construction.

He was a guitarist who loved music, being out in nature, dropping a fishing line, lover of western movies and playing Xbox. He had a gift for storytelling, but most of all spending time with his family.

Darrell was always a big kid at heart. That’s probably why he was such a great Grandfather. All the grandchildren loved him so much and gravitated towards him. Plus, the fact that he looked like Santa Claus didn’t hurt.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents Erneal and Geraldine Brewer, his sister Sue Ruff and brother Steve Brewer.

He is survived by his wife Cathey (Becker)Brewer of Globe, AZ, his son’s Jason Brewer of Chicago, IL, Jeremy Brewer of Chicago, IL, and Justin Brewer (Briana) of San Tan Valley, AZ, and daughter Tegan Leslie (Matthew) of Chicago, IL. Darrell also had three stepsons Carl (CJ) Williams (Melissa) of Jenison, MI, Chris Williams (Kayla) of Globe, AZ, and Curtis Williams (Sam) of Globe, AZ. Darrell was a proud Papa of 15 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bruce Brewer (Diane) of Chicago, IL, and Brian Brewer of Chicago, IL, along with his sisters Deborah Watson of Tennessee and Tammy Sheehy of Chicago, IL.
