Clifford Gilbert, Jr.

Clifford Gilbert, Jr. was born to Gretta M. Gilbert and Clifford Gilbert, Sr. on March 4th, 1961. He attended Peridot Mission and East Fork Lutheran Mission, after graduation he attended Eastern Arizona College.

Clifford moved and married Angela Yazzie and had two children, Martinez Gilbert, and Cleo Gilbert. He was employed by General Dynamic in Fort Defiance; his other employment was with Window Rock Police Department and Gallup Police Department. After moving back home, he continued his employment with Apache Gold Casino as a Security Officer. During his employment with all the law enforcement positions, he received many certificates and awards.

During his school days, he was active in many sport programs, and he also received all around recognitions. Plus, his love of participating in Rodeos throughout the Southwest. Calf roping and team roping were his favorite sports.  He was also awarded all-around cowboy and won many trophy buckles. His favorite hobbies were watching sports channels and rodeo events.

While at home, he married Victoria Casoose and they have one daughter, Kimberly Gilbert. Clifford has five grandchildren: Myka, Jordan, Makye, Jazlynn, and Cleo Jr.

Clifford will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 6:00 A.M. at the Gilbert Residence in Peridot, Arizona

Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the Peridot Lutheran Church in Peridot, Arizona.

Interment will be at Six Mile Cemetery in Lower Peridot, AZ.
