Celia Coddington

Celia was a loving and caring mother and wife. In her life, she cared for her husband Bill and their children; Martha, Rebecca, Richard, Charles, Gloria and Michael. Mom was blessed later in life with her grandchildren Timothy, Aaron, Bryan, Christina, Amanda, Eddie, Elena, Patricia and Adrian. These blessings also delivered to her great-grandchildren Alexandria, Chase, Diego and Jerrika.

In her younger years, Celia was a nurses aid in a OB department of a hospital in Texas, where she loved cuddling and doting on all those babies. Then she met the love of her life, William “Bill” Coddington. They spent 53 years together, until Bill passed away in 1996. Celia worked hard as a mother, maintaining a warm and happy home. She was constantly in the kitchen cooking all of those delicious tasting Mexican meals. All the neighbors would be so excited for the holidays to come around because that’s when Mom would give them all tamales to enjoy.

Mom passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Celia will be dearly missed, but we will always have our memories of her---

Private Graveside Services were held on October 8 ^th , 2021 at Globe Cemetery in Globe, Arizona.
