Catherine "Cathy" Anne Gregg

Cathy Ann Gregg age 78 of Globe, Arizona passed away on July 23rd, 2024, at Haven of Globe. She was born on October 21st, 1945, in Globe, Arizona to E.G. and Dorothy Johnson.

She worked as a phone operator for Mountain Bell, Teacher's Aide for Globe Unified School District, and a Foster Parent to many Gila County children for over 10 years. Cathy was known for her huge heart. She cared for many individuals with disabilities and was an advocate to them for over 40+ years.

Cathy enjoyed cooking many favorite dishes, shopping at QVC, spending time with her family and friends, and watching her favorite TV shows late into the night. She loved drinking her Pepsi and Marlboros.

She married her husband Donald Gregg in 1967, and they begin to build their family. They had 4 sons- Robert, Andrew (Andy), Donald, and Tommy Gregg, and 2 daughters-Carol Richter and Cheryl Baker. Cathy loved and adored her grandchildren; they were perfect in her eyes.

Cathy is survived by her children Andy, Robert and Tommy Gregg, stepchildren Don, Cheryl and Carol. Sisters Dorothy (Dodie) Johnson, Margie (Cuzzy) Woodburn, Barbara (Mike) Orlowski. Grandchildren; Shianne, Robbie, Elizabeth, Brian, Abbigail and Emilee Gregg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gregg, parents E.G. and Dorothy Johnson, sister Janette Warden and brother Gordon Johnson.
