Carleen Idamae Lambert

Carleen Idamae Lambert, age 80, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on June 30th, 2023, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. She was born in Seattle, Washington on July 30th, 2023, to Donald James Calkins and Violet Huldah Cherry.

Carleen worked as a kindergarten teacher at Globe Schools and Destiny Learning Center. She is a mother of 8 children, and she also had 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed song writing and was an active member of the Globe Christian Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Calkins and Violet Cherry, daughter Kathleen Halterman, and her sister Donna Jon.

She is survived by her children Joel (Jennifer) Lambert, Jeanette (Robert) Iglehart, Rodney (Patricia) Lambert, Mary (Corman) Lambert, Michael Lambert, Matthew Lambert, and John Lambert. Her brothers James (Cathy) Cherry, William (Lydia) Cherry, David Cherry, and Lloyd Cherry.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, at the Globe Christian Center in Globe, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, at the Globe Christian Center in Globe, Arizona.

Interment will follow at the Globe Cemetery.
