Buster Dona

Buster Lee Dona, age 78 of Peridot, Arizona passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on May 12, 1942. He was the son of Mary (Hade) Anderson and David Dona. He worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. Buster attended school in Eagle Creek, Safford, and Sherman High School in Riverside, California. He worked at Pinto Valley Copper Company as an equipment operator, for the BIA on the road crew and the Forestry department and was an EMT driver. He liked being outdoors hunting and picking acorns. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Anderson and David Dona. He is survived by his wife Angelita (Pike) Dona of Peridot, children Steve Dona and Buster Dona Jr. of Peridot, Cathy Nosie (Granville) of Bylas, his siblings Howard Anderson Jr., Sonny Dudley “Smiley” and Shirley A. Dudley of San Carlos, Linda Moses of Bylas and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 10:00 – 1200 Noon at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona.
