Bobby Wayne Strom

Bobby was called home to be with our Lord September 11, 2021. Bobby was born September 6, 1975 in Morenci AZ to Rebecca Strom and David Wells. When Bobby was a few months old his mother and dad married, and they all moved to South Dakota where David was stationed in Military. Shortly after his first birthday he and his mom returned to Greenlee County making their home in Clifton and then Morenci. He was enrolled in Morenci schools through 7th grade, then moved to Globe where he graduated from Globe High School in 1994. His younger years were spent exploring the Gila River in Greenlee County, camping, and hanging out with cousins and friends. In Globe the Lake was a good place to camp. After graduating he returned to Morenci for a short time, then moved to Chloride where he met and fell in love with Terry Green and her daughters. He and Terry spent many years together raising Tiffany and Leanne. Bobby was a prospector, warehouse worker, and caregiver for his grandchildren until his health prevented him from doing that. His remaining time was in assisted living in Utah. Bobby is survived by his mother Rebecca Stephens, his brother Dominic Hartwell, his two stepdaughters Tiffany Lacorti, Leanne Flores, his grandchildren Jason Justin Skyler Carlos Alicia and Manuel. Preceded by his father David Wells his sister Brandie Rose Hartwell his stepdad Walter Hartwell his grandparents Bobby Wayne Huggins and Betty Huggins. Memorial services will be held privately.
