Guillermo "Bill" Rocha

Our Lord called Bill home on November 12, 2021, at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Miami, AZ. at the age of 77.

Bill entered this world in Miami, AZ. on October 16, 1944, to Joseph & Margarita Rocha, and was a lifelong resident in our community. Bill was a 1962 graduate of Miami High School and later in life attended classes at Gila Pueblo Collage.

In September 1963, he enlisted into the U. S. Army where he was proud to serve and eventually became a Spec. E-4 in the Signal Corp. Shortly after his discharge, Bill went to work for     M & I Hospital as a maintenance employee. Bill excelled at this job where in time he became the Maintenance Department Engineer and had a distinguished career for 38 years before retiring.

Bill was a man of many talents, he enjoyed cooking, tinkering in his “Man Cave” to which he called his “Cuartito” and he absolutely loved anything outdoors. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping in the white mountains and of course archery, at which he excelled. He was a stickler about things, he said, “If it’s worth doing- do it right”. He was insistent on teaching others what he knew so that they could function independently.

Bill was a family man that loved his children and grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and three grandchildren.

Lovingly remembered by his children, William Rocha, Christine Rocha, Amanda Sermeño (Jeff), Daniel Albo (Renee), and Cathy Sanchez. His surviving siblings, Joe Rocha (Lily), Dan Rocha (Judy) and Frances Vasquez (Richard).

His legacy lives on in his 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

He also leaves behind his faithful dog “Smokey”.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2021 FROM 5:00 TO 7:00 PM AT THE LAMONT MORTUARY CHAPEL

ROSARY WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2021 AT 9:30 AM AT OUR LADY OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH.

FUNERAL MASS WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2021 AT 10:00 AM AT OUR LADY OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH.

INTERMENT WITH MILTARY HONORS WILL FOLLOW AT PINAL CEMETERY
