Beverly Woods age 68 was born March 24 in Monticello Utah to Dwayne and Dorthy Bishop. She is the 3rd of 7 children who remained her life-long best friends. Beverly grew up in San Diego California graduating high school in 1974.
Beverly was a star athlete in her college years at Grossmont College and Brigham Young University where she became a nationally ranked volleyball player. While in Utah she met her husband Craig Woods while playing community volleyball. They would marry in June 1986 and continue their love of the sport together for their entire marriage. Beverly later graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.
She would go on to be a gifted seamstress and tailor serving the community for Globe and teaching quilting at Gila Valley Community college for over 20 years.
Beverly was a devoted and loving mother to two daughters, Nikki Hall and Dani McGrevy and the world’s best grandmother 6 grandchildren: Rachael, Lydia, Emilee and Connor Hall and Raia and Lily McGrevy.
Her life was dedicated to being a wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, daughters and grandchildren. Her sisters Donela, Diane and Stacy and brother Russell. Upon her death Beverly was joyfully reunited with her parents and younger siblings Thomas and Lanette.
