Beverly Hudson

June 27, 1956 — October 21, 2020

Beverly Ann Hudson was born on June 27, 1956, to her late father Joseph Hudson and her late mother Elaine Little Hudson, at the San Carlos Hospital in San Carlos, AZ. Beverly attended elementary school at San Carlos Day School and for junior high she attended school at Noftsger Hill in Globe, AZ. During her teen years she played softball and basketball with several girls team in San Carlos. She often talked to her grandkids about playing in tournaments and traveling. Beverly became a mother at the young age of 16, to her daughter Marion, and a year later to Carol. She soon started working at local sporting events to support her and her two daughters. She also worked as a bookkeeper at the San Carlos Café and the Tribal Store. Beverly soon met Simon Peter Antonio and they married on December 1st, 1976. Together they had two children, Mario Pete and Honey Faye Antonio. The two enjoyed years of traveling to various places with different ministries and other church groups. She met so many people while traveling, many who have become more like family over the years. They both shared the love of God with everyone they met and enjoyed singing together and with the choirs. Their marriage ended on March 1st, 1997. In 2010, Beverly opened up her home to her son Horace, soon after she adopted him and renamed him after her uncles and her father. A few years later, she also welcomed baby Bree in to her family. In 2014, she loss her son Mario, this was the greatest heartbreak she had to endure, of which she never overcame. She would speak of him daily, about how much she missed him and yearned to see him. The year following his death, she mourned the loss of baby Bree. In the early 90’s, Beverly grew an even greater love for cooking and began selling her food. She supported her family through food vending up until the beginning of October of this year. Through her self-employment, she gladly helped many who were in need. She faithfully gave her tithes and always helped those in the ministry. Beverly had a strong faith in God. Through her sales, she was able to meet many people who came to her to talk about their daily struggles. She was a great listener and offered her advice to many, even when not asked. She was a strong, opinionated woman. Above all, Beverly was a strong prayer warrior, she would pray every day and pray for others. Beverly loved her children very much, but she soon learned that her love for her grandchildren was greater than anything she could imagine. She spent most of her days spoiling, supporting, and following her grandkids to all their school and sporting events. She also gifted them with so many things, from food, to jewelry, to dresses, whatever she saw she liked she would get and give to her grandkids. Beverly had a great gift to encourage others. She had an uplifting spirit. She always looked on the positive side of things no matter what she was going through. Beverly always intended to make people laugh and she had such an infectious laugh! Beverly leaves behind, her children: Marion (Al), Carol (Zac), Honey (Norbert), and Horace. Her seven grandchildren; Siera, Bryant, Cheyanne, Alyshia, Aloysius, Kayani, and Antonio.
