Beverly Dewey

Beverly Dewey, age 68, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Miami, Arizona on March 28, 1953. Beverly was the daughter of Henry Harris and Lydia (Russell) Harris. Beverly is a graduate of Eastern Arizona College and was an online student of the University of Arizona. She worked as an Apache Language teacher at San Carlos Unified School District. Beverly enjoyed attending church revivals, camp meetings and all other events with the congregation and of course spending time with her family. While a resident at Haven skilled nursing facility, Beverly enjoyed teaching the Sunday school lessons and praying with those who needed a prayer.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Lydia Harris. She is survived by her husband Samuel Dewey, her two children Raleigh Dewey and Michael Harris, along with her siblings Henrietta Adley, Rose Harris and Roberta Harris.

A Wake will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at the Dewey residence in San Carlos, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Freedom Holiness Church in San Carlos, Arizona.

Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery in San Carlos, Arizona.
