Bert Fraklin Young Sr.

Bert F. Young, age 78, of Apache Junction, AZ passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019                     at his residence in Apache Junction, AZ. He was born in Roscoe, Texas on February 27, 1940 the son of Benny Hugh and Julia Ann (Neel) Young. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the copper mines and he served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Young. Bert is survived by his children Julia A. Flannery (Chip), Bert F. Young, Jr. (Dawn), Patrick S. Young (Carolyn), Brian K. Young (Misty), Christopher J. Young, Sr. (Valerie), Mary E. Gray, his two sisters; Kay Kee and Sherrie Sohl, 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.   Burial of ashes will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Globe Cemetery in Globe, AZ. Followed by a Celebration of Life at the American Legion in Globe, AZ
