Barbara Joy Jenkins

Barbara J. Jenkins, age 71, of Globe passed away on September 7, 2022 at her home in Globe, Arizona. She was born May 27, 1951, in Canastota, New York. Barb was raised on a dairy farm in Upstate New York.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Shirley Van Dusen and her husband Ernie Jenkins.

She is survived by her son; Chris Madaras (Caitlin), her brother; Rick Van Dusen (Hind), her sisters: Annie (Dennis) Lasher, Cathy Lichorat (Bob), her grandchildren; Rylan and Kyler, her long time companion; Glenn Kahler, and her dog; Boris.

Barbara was a school bus driver. She enjoyed sewing, camping, and making cookies and bread to send to people at Christmas time. She liked watching the Magnolia network, looking at friends on Facebook while Boris, her dog, was laying beside her. She enjoying going to Upstate, New York to see friends and relatives every summer. If Barbara was here she would like to have her hot tea for breakfast. We will all miss Barbara.
