Anthony Gilbert

Anthony Gilbert Sr., age 63 of Peridot, Arizona passed away on August 17, 2020 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on September 26, 1956. He was the son of Annie (Polk) Dennis and Wesley Gilbert Sr. He attended Rice Elementary School and East Fork High School. He managed Tribal Security for 24 years. He listened to Window Rock Radio Station and liked to travel, attend church, watching Arizona Cardinal Games and wrestling. He was preceded in death by his parents Annie Polk Dennis and Westley Gilbert Sr. and his wife Esther Gilbert. Anthony is survived by his children Flortina Gilbert Faden of Peridot, Justin Gilbert of Peridot, Sherry Gilbert of Peridot, Brian Gilbert “LaBoy” of Peridot, Anthony Gilbert Jr. of Peridot, Marcus Jordan of Los Angeles, California, his siblings Wesley Gilbert Jr. of San Carlos, Shirley A. Gilbert of San Carlos, Julianna Dennis of San Carlos and six grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 8:00 – 9:30 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at 10:30 A.M. in Northgate Cemetery.
