Anita Padilla - 1948-2024

On Wednesday February 7, 2024, Anita Padilla (Annie) a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 75 in Claypool, Arizona.

Anita was born June 5, 1948, in Miami, Arizona. She was the youngest of 5 children of Isaac and Antonia Garcia. She graduated from Miami High School in 1966. On February 21, 1969, she married her wonderful and caring husband Gilbert Padilla. She was a mother of four daughters. Anita had worked at the schools as a teacher's aide, as well as at the detention center. She loved spending time with her family and going to the White Mountains. She also enjoyed going hunting, fishing and to the casino with her husband.

Anita is survived by her husband Gilbert Padilla, her 3 daughters Veronica (Bryan) Christina and Cecilia, her siblings; Connie Gomez, Dora Garcia, Isaac Garcia, Jr., and Teresa Pizano, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded into death by her daughter Diana Padilla, her parents Issac and Antonia Garcia and her brother Jimmy Garcia.

She will be dearly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her or was a part of her life.

Rosary will be held March 1st, 2024, at 9:30AM at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Arizona.

Mass will be held at 10:00AM on March 1st, 2024, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Arizona.
