Andres R. Salazar

Andres Robles Salazar, age 84, of Globe, AZ passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his residence in Globe, AZ. He was born in Globe, AZ on March 13, 1934 the son of Henry and Annie (Robles) Salazar. He worked for Inspiration Copper Mine as a Converter Foreman where he retired. He also worked for J.C.Penny’s. Andy enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He enjoyed life and was very well liked. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. He joined the armed forces in July 1953 and served his country proudly in the U.S Marine Corps He was preceded in death by his sons Timothy Carl Salazar and Andres Salazar, Jr. Andres is survived by his wife Helen J. (Barela) Salazar, his children; Michael J. Salazar (Shelly), Roseann Steinmetz (Tim) and Janice M. Hernandez (Richard), his brother Nick Salazar and his sisters Maria Nader and Maria Carbajal (Pilar).   Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Family Fellowship Center in Globe. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 at the Family Fellowship Center. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
