AGNES RIOS PAUL

Agnes Rios Paul, 87 of Central Heights, died Saturday, March 15 in Globe.

Agnes was born in Mogollon, New Mexico September 30, 1937, to Joe and Ann Rios. Her family moved to Miami in the early 1940s where she lived the rest of her life. Agnes graduated from Miami High School in 1956.

Mom married the love of her life Michael Paul of Globe November 24, 1966. They had two children, Andrea and Anthony.
Agnes was a wonderful Mom, Grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved being with her family, whether at dinners, cookouts, or parties. Mom especially loved her grandsons Michael and Brady.

Agnes worked in healthcare most of her life. She worked with her friend Dr. Charles A. Bejarano for decades, initially as a medical assistant and later as an insurance clerk. Agnes developed many lifelong friends during this time, and helped countless patients and their families.
Mom loved listening to music throughout her life. She was a voracious reader, devouring books by authors that she enjoyed. Mom loved to watch television. Some of her favorite shows included The Price is Right, anything in the Star Trek universe, all of the shows in the CSI franchise, The Big Bang Theory, and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Mom greatly enjoyed visits to the casino, especially her trips with Dad to Laughlin.

Mom is preceded in death by her husband Michael, parents Joe and Ann Rios, and brother Bobby Rios. She is survived by her daughter Andrea (Scott) Allen of Phoenix and son Anthony (Gina) Paul of Globe. Grandsons Michael Paul of Globe and Brady Allen of Phoenix. Her brother Joe (Carol) Rios of Globe and sister Linda (Doug) Versaevel of Globe. Her bonus kids Carol Tarango, Dominic Renon, Mark Tarango, and Christopher Gonzales. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as her large collection of Guysitos.

Per Mom's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Globe Salvation Army or the charity of your choice. We love you Mom. Please give Dad a kiss and a hug.
