Revered Adolph O. Cota, age 65 of San Carlos, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Susano and Maria Ortega Cota on July 3, 1955 in Mesa, AZ. Adolph graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1974. He attended American Indian College and completed a certification program which was offered at that time. He was a licensed minister through the Assemblies of God. He married Veda, the love of his life and they were married for 40 years. He ministered to the San Carlos Apache people for 7 years. Adolph was known for his enjoyment of cooking, reading and spending time with family. He would get a fire in his eye and do everything short of a cartwheel talking about heaven. He had a sense of humor and could make others laugh. He was kind and generous. He was loved and will be missed every day. Adolph was preceded in death by his daughter Mabelena Maria Cota. Adolph is survived by his wife Veda, his daughters, Sheila Marie Le married to Arthur, Hadassah Marie John married to Jeremiah Sr. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jeremiah “Miah” John, Zoey Rose John, Madison “Maddie” Mai Le and Millie Mae Le and numerous family and friends. Breakfast to be served at Miami Word of Life from 6:00 A.M. - 7:00 A.M. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 7:00 A.M at Calvary Shadows Assembly of God Church in Globe, Arizona. Celebration of life ceremony to be held at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 5th, 2020 at Calvary Shadows Assembly of God in Globe.
