Flordina Enky Allison, age 58 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her residence in Mesa, Arizona. She was born in San Carlos, Arizona on February 24, 1960, the daughter of Sally (Ewing) and Frank C. Dosela. Florinda attended and graduated from Orem High School in Orem, Utah. She was the first Native American Woman to become the Fire Captain at the Gila River Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her parents Sally and Frank C. Dosela, and her husband Peter Pio Thomas Jr. Florenda is survived by her children; Reshel Thomas (Justin) of Mesa, Arizona, Marie Thomas of Phoenix, Arizona, Peter Thomas III of Laveen, Arizona, Benjamin Thomas (Holly) of Laveen, Arizona, Samuel Thomas (Amy) of Sacaton, Arizona. Her siblings; Floyd Dosela of Whiteriver, Arizona, Jennifer Barajas of Tucson, Arizona, Marvell Dosela of San Carlos, Arizona, Verenda Garcia of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Merrilene Osife of Sacaton, Arizona, Darell Arkie Dosela of Chinle, Arizona, Firmalena Howard of Sacaton, Arizona, Ryan Dosela of Globe, Arizona, Arvis Dosela of laveen, Arizona, Petia DeRosa of Mesa, Arizona, Fedelia Rivera of San Carlos, Arizona, Kimble Dosela of New Mexico and 13 grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed, but will cherish our memories forever. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 8:00 A.M. at the LDS Church in San Carlos. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the LDS Church in San Carlos. Interment will be at the San Carlos Cemetery/Mormon Hill.
