Daniel E. Martinez

  Danny Edward Martinez, age 63 of Miami, Arizona passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his residence.  He was born in San Bernardino, California on July 23, 1955. He was the son of Connie (Alvarez) and Enrique Martinez. He worked in construction as a Mason. He built many beautiful walls and fireplaces here in the Globe-Miami area along with down in the valley. He went to school at Miami High School, and he married Lisa Felix on December 27, 1975. Danny loved to work out and listen to music. He also loved dancing and was known around town as “Disco Dan”. He also enjoyed watching movies but the most important thing was, he loved hanging out and laughing with his family. In any situation, he could always make you laugh. Danny was preceded in death by his parents Connie and Enrique Martinez, his brothers Billy Martinez, Bobby Martinez, Joey Martinez and his sister Debbie Martinez. He is survived by his ex-wife Lisa Martinez, his sons Chris Martinez (Carolyn) of Chandler, Arizona, Joe Paul Martinez of Gilbert, Arizona, his daughters Nicole and Elora Martinez of Tempe, Arizona, his brother Dickey Martinez of Claypool, his sister Yvonne Martinez of Gilbert, Arizona, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Interment will be in the Globe Cemetery.
