Kenzie Lorenzo Key, age 63, of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away on November 28, 2018 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on June 5, 1955. He was the son of Nona (Shaker) and Isaac Key. He worked as a janitor for the San Carlos Headstart. He attended school at Rice Elementary School, Globe Junior High and Globe High School. Kenzie also worked at the sawmill, as a seasonal firefighter, a ranch hand for Anchor 7 Cattle Association. He loved reading, sports, old western movies, oldies music, especially Elvis, watching the Arizona Cardinals, walking, and spending time with the family. He was preceded in death by his parents Nona and Isaac Key and his daughter April Mary Key. He is survived by his sisters Marthalene Phillips of Peridot, Lolita Reed of Peridot, Veronica Key of Peridot, Ida Hunter of Cutter, his brothers Calvin Key of San Carlos, and Charles Key of Peridot. Wake will be on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the Key’s residence in Chinatown. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Charles Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will be at China Town cemetery.
