James Sullivan

James J Sullivan, age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2018, at Cobra Valley Reginal Medical Center. He was married to Joanne Louise Sullivan for 49 years. He was born December 10, 1939, in St Paul, Minnesota to Harriet Agnes (Carpenter) and Francis Sullivan. James had a brother, Jerry Sullivan and sister, Janice Von Ession. James served his country in the US Army and as a volunteer Firefighter in Bayhead, New Jersey until he retired and moved to Globe, Arizona in 2001. He loved hunting, fishing, the mountains and "chasing” lighthouses. He is survived by his son, Michael W. Sullivan, and grandson Michael Angelo and his daughter, Rebecca L. (Sullivan) Patterson, her husband, Van Patterson and grandchildren Alisha, Chelsi, Adrianna and great grandson, Xander as well as his extended family Sonia Boyd, Ernie Valenzuela, Terra Visnaw, Braelynn (Bug) Visnaw, and Madelynn (Matie) Visnaw   He will always be remembered for being a man that truly loved and respected his wife, Joanne, and how much he suffered for her loss when she passed.
