Travis Williams

Travis A. Williams, age 94, of Globe, AZ passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe, AZ He was born in DeKalb, Texas on April 23, 1924 the son of Nathan A. and Roxie A. (Maxey) Williams. He was the last of nine children. He had worked as an auto mechanic. In his younger years he enjoyed the outdoors going fishing and hunting. He served his country proudly in the U.S Army with the 3159th Signal Service battalion and was honorably discharge on August 23, 1946. Preceded in death by his parents Nathan and Roxie Williams, his daughters Linda F. Button and Sara “Elaine” Cahill. Travis is survived by his wife Laura (Mora) Williams, his children Gail Aneas and Travis E. Williams and 12 grandchildren.     Graveside Service will take place at the National Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ  on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 12:30 P.M.
