Samuel Kenton

Samuel Hart “Sam” Kenton, age 77, of Peridot, Arizona passed away on September 27, 2018 at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on October 18, 1940. He was the son of Rachel (Haozous) and Charley Kenton Sr. He worked as an electrician for the Copper Mines. Sam served his country proudly in the U.S Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents Rachel and Charley Kenton, his sister Pamela Hopkins and his brother Charley Kenton Jr. He is survived by his wife Delphina Kenton of Peridot, sons Samuel Kenton Jr. of Globe, Michael Duane Kenton of San Carlos, daughters Camilla Jean Benally of Laveen, Arizona, Beverly Ann Benally of San Carlos, Amy Louise of San Carlos, 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Wake will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 6:00 A.M. at the Kenton’s residence in Hallelujah Square. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. at the Rice School Gym on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Interment will follow at the San Carlos Veterans Cemetery.
