Alberta B. Stokes

ALBERTA BLANCHE STOKES, AGE 91, OF WHEATFIELDS, PASSED AWAY JUNE 23, 2018 AT HER RESIDENCE. SHE HAD LIVED PREVIOUSLY IN ANAHEIM AND HEMET CALIFORNIA. She was born in Westover, West Virginia the daughter of Grace Chesney Henry and James Henry on May 4, 1927. Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Lew Stokes, her daughter Debbie and her son Steve. She is survived by her daughter Patti (Jerry) Garlinghouse, her granddaughter Abby Garlinghouse, her grandsons; Jerry (Renee) Garlinghouse, Steve Stokes Jr., Michael Stokes and five great granddaughters. Alberta was the eldest of 13 children of which four are still living.A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT THE FIRST SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH IN MIAMI, ON JULY 7, 2018 AT 1:00 P.M.HER ASHES WILL BE INTERRED WITH HER HUSBAND AT RIVERSIDE NATIONAL CEMETERY, RIVERSIDE, CA.
