Alexander Leigh Jordan

Alexander Leigh Jordan age 94, passed away on April 7, 2018 at The Summit at Sunland Springs in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 24, 1924. He was the son of Julia Marie (Townsend) and Alexander Jordan Jr. He worked at the Department of Economic Security in New Mexico. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was in the Battle of the Bulge. Alex was preceded in death by his parents Julia and Alexander Jordan Jr. and his wife Helen (Montgomery) Jordan, sons Jack Barnard and Gary Jordan. He is survived by his sons Richard Jordan (Ruth) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Steven Barnard of Phoenix, Arizona, his daughters Cathy Charleston of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Marty Winquest (Buck) of Miami, Arizona, Linda Sims of Albuquerque, New Mexico and six grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 9:00 – 9:30 A.M. at Rivera Funeral Home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Graveside services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
